La Huerta Grill in Fort Smitd

I usually don't come on the weekend, because I usually come during the week. Had a surprise guest at the restaurant and we knew it was going to be busy. Service was excellent and we were able to sit outdoors.

The food was good. The service was good. They have outside seating. They also have a stage outside for live music. Parking is a little congested. Don't park in the wrong spot during regular business hours through the week for your car may be towed!Metered parking is free on the weekends! This is a great location in downtown Fort Smith with lots of other things to do and see

Service was great. Just as it should be. The food however hasn't been as good as it has been. Hot, just not like past experiences.

Slow took 15 min to get more chips at least 20 min to even get order taken

One of my favorite places to eat in town with a patio. Can't beat the service or staff. I tried the Baja bowl today and it was amazing!!

Food was not hot just barely warm and was not very good

I ordered a very simple dish and the 2 ladies I was with already had gotten their food and eaten before I got mine. The first dish he brought was completely wrong. The food was good but I had to wait an hour.

A good Mexican food restaurant. Quick service, good flavor and filling serving size. Got the burrito Fajita, the beans were good, guacamole good and so was the steak. Not a mind blowing experience, but a solid go to place with a fair price. Ample seating and ample parking too. La Huerta, good job.

Parking sucks. Music was too loud. Food and service was just okay.

Good Mexican food. The portions are huge and it is relatively inexpensive. The patio on Friday night with the Chicken Pot Pi band was awesome! It rained earlier today so the temperature was amazing! Definitely take advantage of the live music if it is available and the weather isn't too bad!

Food good on most plates in our party but my fajitas were over done. Great patio. Service super fast.

Colorful environment and exceptional service from Phillip! Ordered side salads with ranch dressing, shrimp fajitas and grande dinner plate. Both were delicious and very filling. Finished with chocolate lava cake (which was filled with hot white chocolate!) and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Lovely outdoor seating area and clean indoor dining area.

Took a chance at this location and it was terrible. Salsa was tomato sauce with little taste. The California burrito had very little beef and the cheese sauce was watered.... But the white queso dip was spot on. They did remake the burrito and it was better but I dislike my food being remade.

We came to enjoy the band so are okay with the food. Service was fast and friendly. Food was very average. This is primarily a drinking place. Food was gringo-bland. Salsa was little more than tomato sauce. Everything needed seasoning.

Fast at the door to be sat at a table but after that went way way downhill. Our waiter was extremely rude, brought our drinks out slowly, took our order and acted annoyed when we asked questions, brought out one meal and then much later brought out the second one. Every waiter knows thats a hige no no and shows someone being rude. The only good part was the gentleman who actually seated us who was super happy and polite. Food was not that good and in my personal opinion bland. I'm sure any other time outside of covid the food is amazing but not right now.

Consistent experience. Solid tasting food. Friendly staff members. Good pricing and fast times. Not always the greatest flavors. But definitely good enough.

Decent place. Food is okay,but the service is mediocre at best most times. Best part is their patio area.

The staff was super friendly but the food is better at the one by the mall. They did pretty good to accommodate our church group. I love the style of the building.

Took my mother here for Mother's Day lunch - the atmosphere was great! We sat outside to listen to the live music. Food and service were both fantastic!

We board our dogs at stay. They take wonderful care of our pets.

Service was great. All of the wait staff were very good about helping each other. The food had very little seasoning and was rather bland. Fajita meat in the burrito were tiny little strips, which came out well done and very tough.Manager was quick to take care of burrito issues. Good atmosphere. Had a live band that was good. Was seated right next to the band, that were on a break when we arrived. Was really dreading them returning to play. The music was loud ,but not overpowering. Pleasantly surprised with it.

I ordered the chicken burrito lunch portion and it was so good! My waiter was so attentive and really made sure I was taken care of. The hostess was very accommodating and helped me find a booth that had an outlet so I could plug in my laptop to do some work. I would visit again!

Outstanding doesn't really cover the quaity of the food or the service. The employees were courteous, fast, responsive and the food EXCELLENT. We were on a bus tour with 36 people from Houston, Texas. We had a limited amount of time and were in and out in less than an hour. GREAT WORK!

Literally one of the only places I will eat when I come to ft Smith to work. Beautiful patio downtown. Great staff. Incredibly fast. You can eat lunch comfortable in under 30 minutes. I always reference people here. For a reliable and reasonable meal in a unreasonable town!

I love the location of the downtown location. The atmosphere is great during the summertime and they have live bands on the patio. HOWEVER, I just ordered 3 tacos with some chips and cheese dip and the cheese dip is the consistently of water almost. If you are going to water down your cheese to help make more don't charge $5 for a small. Not very happy.

I had the enchiladas ala creama and they were outstanding. My wife had the Fajita taco salad with a combination of steak and chicken. the chicken was good but the steak was kind of bland. Eventhough place was really busy we were seated almost immediately. They had a live band on the patio more room than I thought possible. overall a good dinner and atmosphere.

With out a doubt the best Mexi restaurant north of the Red River. Not only is the food absolutely awesome the portions are more than generous and the STAFF will run through a window to ensure you have a good visit. Best Food since we left the Rio Grand Valley...

Great Mexican restaurant. I stopped in for lunch around 2pm and they have a discounted lunch menu until 3pm. They also have $2 daily margarita special from 2pm to 6pm, normally $5. So to catch the lunch special and drink specials 2pm to 3pm is a perfect time. I had the fajitas for $7.59 and it was prepared perfectly and tasted delicious. Highly recommended 5 stars.

Located in old town off HWY 64, has parking nearby. Large area, outdoor seating on patio with live music on the weekends. We came in on Saturday evening around 8:30 and was seated promptly, although our server was slow getting to us with only 1 other table in the area. Once we ordered our drinks he came quickly, chips and salsa then came which we both enjoyed; crisp and warm chips, nice flavored salsa and we also ordered the bean dip which had white queso in it, so yummy. Wife had beef fajitas which she enjoyed and I had the speedy Gonzalez, came with one enchilada and crispy beef taco and the shell was homemade and crunchy good, charro beans was okay had like a chili seasoned to them. Overall we would recommend

Food is always good here, with great service too. Love down town on Garrison Avenue. Live music with a festive and friendly atmosphere. Want to move back to Ft. Smith!

I have been looking forward to taking my friend here for her birthday for a week. I spent 54 dollars, and the service was horrible! The waiter was very rude acted put out if we ask for anything including salt. Please there is better places in the Fort! Never again ☹️.

We stopped by La Huerta during a road trip. We ordered the lunch menu fajitas and I was surprised by the amount of meet they put on the plate for lunch menu. Staff is friendly, the place is clean and great location.

Best live music around! We travel all the way from Muskogee just to come here on the weekends. My parents have even danced here once. When it's cold they move the live music inside, so don't worry about being chilly.

Excellent Mexican restaurant! Location is great and place is very spacious. Food is fresh and staff is there to help with anything you need. You will find all of your favorite dishes and they will accommodate any requests you might have. There is outdoor seating and a sun room for seating too. Definitely worth checking out!

Great food on the pricey side but worth it.

Love this place. Great food excellent service and outdoor entertainment evenings on the weekends. Their salsa is the best Ive ever had.
